Directions to the Americana Hotel London
From Heathrow Airport:
Follow the signs for London Underground and take the Piccadilly Line to Piccadilly Circus, change there and take the Bakerloo Line (northbound) to Baker Street.
Alternatively
Follow the signs to the Train Station and take a train to Paddington Station, at Paddington Station transerfer to London Underground and take the Bakerloo line to Baker Street. There is escalator access to street level at both stations.
There are two services from Hearthrow into Paddington - Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect - the Connect service take and extra 13 minutes but is half the price. To transfer between terminals you may use the train services free of charge.
From Gatwick Airport:
Follow the signs to the Railway Station and that the train to Victoria. You can take he Gatwick Express, which takes 30 minutes or one of the local train services that take 10 minutes longer but are about half of the price. At Victoria transfer to London Underground and take the Victoria Line to Oxford Circus where you transfer to the Bakerloo Line (the two platforms are side-by-side so there is level access) northbound to get to Baker Street.
You can take the Circle Line from Victoria to Baker Street, but there are stairs at both stations.
From Stansted Airport:
From Stansted take the A6 National Express coach service, you can buy a ticket on arrival at the National Express desk. Ask for Baker Street and if you are buying a return journey tell them you want to be picked up at Gloucester Place/Baker Street - this stop is 200 meters from the Americana; outside a pub called the Alsop Arms.
On the way into London you will be dropped off just in front of a pedestrian crossing, cross Baker Street there and follow the walking directions to the Americana.
Alternatively;
Take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street Station. At Liverpool Street transfer to London Underground and take either a Circle, Metropolitan or Hammersmith & City Line train to Baker Street. There are stairs to the platform at both stations.
Taking the train to Liverpool Street may look to be quicker but remember you still have the journey on the Underground to get here. Taking the A6 coach service takes about the same time in total and it is about half of the price.
From Luton Airport:
From Luton take the 757 Green Line coach service into London. Ask for Baker Street and if you are buying a return journey tell them you want to be picked up from Gloucester Place/Baker Street - this stop is 200 meters from the Americana; outside a pub called the Alsop Arms.
On the way to London you will be dropped off just in front of a pedestrian crossing, cross Baker Street there and follow the walking directions to the Americana.
Alternatively;
Take the courtesy Coach Service to Luton Parkway Railway Station. From there you can get a trainto King's Cross St Pancras Station. At Kings Cross St Pancras change to the London Underground and take the Circle, Metropolitan or Hammersmith & City Lines to Baker Street. They all go from the same platform.
From London City Airport:
Take the DRL northbound to Canning Town. At Canning Town change to the Jubilee Line westbound. This will take you directly to Baker Street and the journey time is about 35 minutes.
From the Eurostar Terminal:
The Eurostar service terminates at St Pancras International station. When you arrive follow the signs to the underground station and take the Circle, Metropolitan or Hammersmith & City line to Baker Street. They all depart from the same platform.

Baker Street is served by the Jubilee, Bakerloo, Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan Lines.
Please Note
Single fares on both the underground and busses are prohibitively expensive. Unlessyou are just making the one journey to the hotel that day it will almost certainly be more cost effective to get a "Travel Card" or "Oyster Card". To walk to the Hotel from Baker Street Underground Station (400 meters)
Leave Baker Street Station via the exit sign posted Baker Street (north), there is a Boots pharmacy by this exit, cross Baker Street at the crossing on your right and walk down Melcombe Street, which is on the other side of the crossing. When you get to the traffic lights at the end of Melcombe Street turn right, the road sign says Dorset Square but it becomes Gloucester Place again on the other side of the square. The Americana is on the right approximately 200 meters from the traffic lights.
